Creating 3D graphics can be a very difficult task, yet,it can be rewarding when you have the right software.
Don't be put off the tasks of graphic design because there some very smart and low cost programs that will allow you to create almost anything, provided you let your imagination guide you through the process.
Here you will find a few examples of the software we are using and we also provide you with the links so you can download a try them out. We start with 3D headings that can either be still or animated. The software is Xara 3D3 is designed to generate just 3D headings with plenty of fully editable samples that will enable you to change font type, size, colour, aspect ratio and distance between lines. You can also change extrusion, lighting colour, background colour, shadow colour, viewing angle and a host of other futures that will take too long to mention.
There is the latest version Xara 3D4with extra added futures that you can download now with a free 15 trial period. The GIFs you see bellow are made small so you won't get fed up waiting to download. The secret of a smart site is that apart for having great looking graphics, these graphics must be optimised so they are loaded at best possible times and so the visitors to your site won't give up in the first 30 seconds. To see every GIF animated just click on it and you can view on separate small window which will close automatically after ten seconds.

There is an other excellent program that will save you a lot of time creating custom headings 2D-3d, bullets, backgrounds, button and dividers. The Xara Webstyle offers a very large amount of different designs and every single one is fully editable. You can also save headings from Xara 3D4 and use them with Webstyle. Bellow you will find screenshots of different styles just hover the mouse over and it the thumbnail and it will expand.

Xara X is an advanced graphic illustration package for Windows computers. You will find producing illustrations quick and easy. You just choose the drawing tools you want from the on-screen toolbar and draw. Relevant information about the current tool is also displayed on-screen. You can customise the bars to show as many or as few functions as you wish. Every change you make is recorded by Xara X. So, if you make a mistake or change your mind, you can step backwards undoing previous operations. You can experiment knowing you can always return to an earlier stage. Using Xara X could not be easier. Xara X also provides many advanced features such as graduated fills, transparency, multi-stage blends and fills, semitransparent (soft) shadows, enveloping and perspective. © 1995-2000 Xara Ltd. Xara X is another very nice program that offers graphic designers and novices of the graphics art, the opportunity to create professional designs with the minimum effort. Because it's using vector graphics and it's own dithering algorithms, it offers excellent antialiasing and it has a magnification of 25601% with no loss of colour. If you are wondering how you can overlay colours and create transparencies, well with Xara X you can and we have some examples bellow to show you it's capabilities. An other great feature of this nice package is it's animation capabilities. You can create good quality animated GIFs and you can import any animated GIF edit it to your liking and publish it. Most of the graphics in this page are designed with Xara X.

All above images have being exported either in JPEG or GIF format. But if you like to sample true vector graphics images go to next page. The format used is .web the default format of Xara X for web graphics. In order to view these images you will need a plugin which you will be asked if you like to download and install to your browser. The plugin file size is 236kb. Browsers that support plugins are Netscape 2 and Internet Explorer and their later versions. If your browser does not support plugins now is the time to upgrade. After the plugin is installed you should be able to view the pictures to the maximum zoom. Use your right button of your mouse for the pug in options. When in full view you must use the back button on your browser to return to default picture view.
